The house reef starts metres from the shore and from the overwater villas, so snorkelling needs no boat: coral gardens, reef fish, turtles, stingrays and blacktip reef sharks are all seen from the island. The resort runs guided house-reef sessions with its marine biologist and beginner snorkelling lessons, and boat trips to nearby reefs are arranged through the dive centre.
