Raa Atoll offers manta ray cleaning stations that can be snorkelled year-round, and in season the resort charters a boat to Hanifaru Bay in the neighbouring Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, home to the largest known aggregation of reef mantas. Whale sharks are occasionally seen on the same trips. Closer to home, the Turtle Journey outing focuses on the hawksbill turtles of the house reef.
