Two fishing formats are offered from the island. Sunset fishing is the gentle version, a hand-line session on a dhoni as the light drops, with the catch cooked for you afterwards. Big game fishing is the serious one, aboard a speedboat rigged with outriggers and a fighting chair, heading for the deeper water beyond the atoll.
