Beach and Lagoon

The main island is small - you can walk round it in under ten minutes - and rimmed with white sand and a shallow, protected turquoise lagoon. Uninhabited sandbanks lie within a short boat ride, which is where the picnics and sunrise breakfasts are set up. The setting is the far south of the Maldives, in Gaafu Alifu, on the edge of the vast Huvadhoo atoll and close to the equator.
