Medical Care

A resident doctor and a paramedic are on call around the clock, working from a well-equipped first aid clinic on the island. Anything beyond that goes to the nearest hospital, twenty minutes away by speedboat. On an island reachable only by seaplane in daylight, that on-site cover matters more than it would elsewhere.
