Coconut Plantation & Tropical Garden

The island was originally a coconut plantation and remains densely planted: the official site and the 2024 brochure both count over 2,300 fully grown coconut palms. The vegetation is dense enough that Onu restaurant is described as hidden within it and the Jungle Cinema is set among it. It gives the island shade and a genuine interior rather than a bare sandbar.
