Southern Star is the island's second buffet restaurant, installed on the south shore in a beachfront pavilion extended by a waterside verandah. Its kitchens bring together Oriental, South Asian and Mediterranean cooking, with a marked emphasis on seafood and Maldivian-style curries. Vegetarian, pescatarian and gluten-free options are offered at every service.
