The house reef is entered straight from the beach or from the villa steps, with no boat needed, and is rated among the best in the Maldives. Guests meet turtles, reef sharks, eagle rays and parrotfish on a coral belt that circles the whole island, with a genuine drop-off on the western side. The dive centre runs guided sessions by day and by night, and a resident marine biologist leads educational snorkels.
