Coral Planting and Reef Clean-ups

Vadoo holds Green Globe certification with an 86% compliance score and runs a marine conservation programme guests can join. Reef clean-ups drew over 50 participants in a single year, and on World Ocean Day the team planted coral over 1.2 square metres using local species. The island also removed single-use water bottles with its own purification and bottling plant and composts food waste with a wet garbage digester.
