The Long Bar was the resort's signature bar, a beachfront transposition of the Raffles Singapore institution, set beside the main pool. Its list ran from champagne and rare spirits to caviar and local snacks, around a house cocktail called the Maldivian Sling - gin, cinnamon, clove and coconut, a tropical rewrite of the Singapore Sling.
