Solar Power Plant

The island runs a solar installation that displaces part of its diesel generation, combined with heat recovery used to warm water. The resort puts the resulting saving at 275 tonnes of CO2 a year. It sits alongside a reverse-osmosis bottling plant that serves water in reusable glass bottles and avoids some 80,000 plastic bottles a year.
