Olhuveli is ringed by a house reef that begins a few metres from the over-water walkways and is entered directly from the beach or the Chill Bar jetty. The coral gardens are described by the resort as pristine, and Laamu is among the least visited atolls in the country, which shows in the reef's condition. Reef sharks and turtles are regular sightings.
