Six Senses Laamu is one of the few Maldivian resorts with a serious surf operation, run in partnership with Tropicsurf. Yin Yang, one of the most powerful right-hand barrels in the country, breaks within reach of the island, and six waves in total are said to be within ten minutes by boat. Coaching is graded, from first-timers in the lagoon to advanced surfers at Yin Yang.
