Marine Wildlife Encounters

The resort lists manta ray snorkelling among its water experiences, and the house reef itself regularly produces turtles, white-tip and grey reef sharks and eagle rays. Neighbouring sites extend the list: Lionshead is known for grey sharks coming up from the deep and passing dolphins, Vellassaru Outside has three resident thresher sharks. Encounters are opportunistic and seasonal rather than scheduled.
