Marine Biology And Coral Conservation

A resident marine biologist runs the resort's conservation programme, working with the marine consultancy Seamarc to rebuild reef damaged by the 1998 and 2016 El Nino bleaching events. Guests help assemble a coral frame, collect fragments and plant it on the seabed, then receive photographic updates twice a year and can dive back to it free of charge on later stays. The biologist also gives weekly talks and runs the resort aquarium and touch pool.
