Eco Centro Waste-to-Wealth Centre

Eco Centro is Soneva Fushi's waste-to-wealth facility, built on permaculture principles to turn resort waste back into resources. Woody waste becomes charcoal and biochar, kitchen scraps become biogas and liquid fertiliser, paper becomes compost and crushed bottles are reused in construction and furniture. Soneva reports a solid-waste recycling rate of around 90%, targeting 100% by 2030.
