Marine Biology and Coral Restoration

A resident marine biologist looks after the reef restoration programme, growing coral fragments in underwater nurseries to regenerate bleached sections of the house reef. Guests join through a coral restoration tour on the house reef and through the biologist's guided snorkelling outings and talks. The work is part of the resort's broader sustainability programme.
