Snorkelling

Bolifushi has two house reefs reachable from the beach, with light-filled coral gardens and conditions gentle enough for beginners. Guided outings go well beyond the house reef: a shipwreck snorkel, a turtle quest and a nurse shark trip by dhoni or speedboat, a night snorkel, and a coral restoration tour led by the resident marine biologist. Manta rays, stingrays, reef sharks and turtles are the usual sightings.
